About Me

I first picked up a camera when I was 10 years old. It was a friend of my father's old Minolta and he taught me how to use it and the 3 basics of photography. Under his guidance, I entered a contest and took 3rd place in a contest with all ages competing. I was hooked!

My passion is taking photos of people, either staged portraits or "capture the moment" shots, that let their inner light shine through. I hope to tell a little bit of their story with each photo, and with their story a little bit about the world they live in.

Many of my favorite pictures have been taken in the back streets and small towns in India, Fiji and other hidden treasures of the world where non-traditional beauty abounds.
